01 — what you do in it

One window for the question, the proof, and the sign-off.

Desktop is the front end to everything the Ledger records. Analysts use it to get answers they can approve; engineers use it to see what their agents and pipelines produced, and where.

01AskType a question in plain language. Desktop compiles it to an expression, runs it on your warehouse, and shows the result with the query beside it.
02ApproveResults wait at a gate until a named person signs. Approvals queue in one place, with the diff against the last approved version.
03TraceClick any number to walk its lineage: sources, versions, who defined it, who approved it, and every place it has been reused.
04RunAuthor and run expressions directly. The same code your agents run, with the same catalog, cache, and Ledger entries.
05Chat with agentsAny agent on any model behind your subscription, working inside your catalog. Every figure it cites is one it actually computed.
06ReportAssemble approved results into a report and export to PowerPoint or PDF. Each number links back to its Ledger entry.
02 — how it works

Warehouse in, Ledger out. Nothing in between.

Desktop talks to your warehouse over your existing credentials. Data stays where it is; what leaves the warehouse is a result, and what Desktop keeps is the record of how it was produced.

1
ConnectPoint Desktop at Snowflake, Databricks, Postgres, DuckDB, or any engine Xorq Anywhere supports. It reads your catalog and permissions as they are.
4
ReuseApproved results are cached by content. The next agent or person asking the same question gets the same answer without a second warehouse run.
2
Ask or runA question or an expression compiles to a query and runs on the warehouse. The result, its query, and its source versions are written to the Ledger.
5
ExportReports go out as PowerPoint or PDF with every figure linked to its entry. A reader can open the link and see the proof a year later.
3
Review and signThe result waits at a gate. A named person approves in Desktop; the approval is a commit with their identity attached.
what desktop never doesCopy your data out of the warehouse, invent a number it did not compute, or release a result nobody signed.
03 — platforms

Mac today. More clients on the way.

The private preview ships as a native macOS app. Windows, a browser client, and IDE integrations follow; all of them read the same Ledger, so a result approved in one is approved in all.
